When do the intensive courses start?
Our intensive courses start on an ongoing basis. To enroll, you must have an approved driver’s license application on file with the appropriate licensing agency—so please contact us well in advance.
What do I need to register?
An ID card or passport, a biometric passport photo, your first-aid course certificate, and a recent eye exam.
Can I also take classes in English?
Yes. We teach in multiple languages—German, English, Serbo-Croatian, Romanian, Turkish, Kurdish, Arabic, and Farsi.

What types of driver's licenses do we offer?
We offer various driver's license classes, each of which applies to different types of vehicles. Among the most important are Class B (passenger cars up to 3.5 metric tons) and Class BE (passenger cars with trailers weighing more than 750 kg).
Can I ride a motorcycle with a Class B driver's license?
No, you are not allowed to ride motorcycles with a Class B driver's license. However, you are allowed to ride mopeds and scooters.

Is there an age limit for a Class B driver's license?
There is no upper age limit for a Class B driver's license. As long as you are physically and mentally fit, you can get your driver's license even at an advanced age.
What types of Class B driver's licenses do we offer?
Class B driver's license: authorizes the holder to drive passenger cars as well as trailers weighing up to 750 kg and vehicle combinations with a total weight of up to 3,500 kg (Classes AM and L are automatically included; minimum age 18, or 17 for BF17). BF17: Permits operation of all Class B vehicles, but only when accompanied by a registered accompanying driver; minimum age 17. BE: Permits the operation of passenger cars with trailers weighing between 750 kg and 3,500 kg; a Class B driver’s license is required; minimum age 18 (17 for accompanied driving).
Can I drive a Class A vehicle with a Class B driver's license?
A Class B driver's license does not authorize you to drive motorcycles. However, it does allow you to drive mopeds in Class AM. For light motorcycles up to 125 ccm, the code 196 (B196) is also required, provided you have held a Class B driver’s license for at least five years and complete the required training.
What is the difference between Class B and BE?
A Class B driver's license allows the holder to drive passenger cars with trailers weighing up to 750 kg, as well as vehicle combinations with a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 3,500 kg. The BE driver’s license expands this authorization and allows the holder to drive passenger cars with trailers weighing more than 750 kg, provided that the trailer’s gross vehicle weight rating does not exceed 3,500 kg.
Can I drive a car at 17?

Can I get a BE driver's license by driving automatic vehicles?

Can I tow multiple trailers at the same time with a BE license?
No, driving with double trailers is not permitted with a BE license.
Can anyone take an intensive course?

Is an intensive course stressful?

What happens if I need more time?

Can I drive by myself?
No, you may only drive when accompanied by an authorized person until you turn 18.
What are the advantages of the BF17?
Early driving experience and increased traffic safety—having an accompanying driver has been proven to reduce the risk of accidents during the first few years.
Can I drive this abroad?
No, supervised driving starting at age 17 is generally permitted only in Germany.
What happens after your 18th birthday?
As soon as you turn 18, you can drive on your own without an accompanying driver using your BF17 driver's license.
